Der neue Logo-Vorschlag wurde von unserer Expertengruppe ausgearbeitet und vom Präsidium und vom Kongress in Brüssel am 6. Dezember 2024 genehmigt. Dieses neue Logo vermittelt klar, wer wir sind, wofür wir stehen und welche Rolle wir bei der Gestaltung der Zukunft Europas spielen. Dieses Logo ist mehr als nur ein Symbol: Es ist eine starke visuelle Botschaft, reich an Bedeutung und Bezügen zu unseren Gründungswerten. ## Der Name: Klarheit und Identität ![Website of the European Democrats - https://democrats.eu](https://democrats.eu/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-e1733651869731-1024x778.png "Website of the European Democrats Democrats: the EDP new brand identity")Working sketches of the new logo Im Mittelpunkt des neuen Logos steht der Name **„Democrats“**, ein Schlüsselelement unserer politischen Identität. In Europa, in den Vereinigten Staaten, auf der ganzen Welt. Direkt, klar und universell spiegelt der Name unser Engagement für eine integrative, moderne und zukunftsorientierte Demokratie wider. Es ist ein verbindendes Wort, das alle europäischen Bürger anspricht und an die Bedeutung einer zentristischen Kraft erinnert, die in der Lage ist, Veränderungen voranzutreiben. ## Die Farbe Orange: Energie und Zentrismus Die dominierende Farbe des neuen Logos ist ein **leuchtendes Orange**, das mit Energie, Innovation und Offenheit in Verbindung gebracht wird. Orange wird historisch mit **politischem Zentrismus** in Verbindung gebracht, der auf halbem Weg zwischen dem sozialistischen Rot, das für ein Engagement für soziale Gerechtigkeit und Gleichheit steht, und dem liberalen Gelb, das für individuelle Freiheit, Fortschritt und wirtschaftliche Entwicklung steht, liegt. Diese Wahl verkörpert perfekt, wer wir als politische Kraft sind: Wir streben nach **Ausgewogenheit und Dialog** und sind stets bereit, Lösungen für die Herausforderungen Europas zu finden. Die Zahl 12 steht für Vollkommenheit, Vollständigkeit und Harmonie. Sie umgeben das Hauptmotiv und stehen für Inklusion, Einheit und Schutz. Sie würdigen die Grundsätze der Freiheit, der Demokratie und der Grundrechte, die im Mittelpunkt des europäischen Projekts stehen. ## Ein Symbol für Zukunft und Zuversicht Das neue Logo ist nicht nur eine erneuerte visuelle Identität, sondern auch eine **Absichtserklärung**. Es bringt klar zum Ausdruck, wer wir sind und was wir aufbauen wollen: ein vereintes, starkes und integratives Europa. In dem die Rolle der Demokraten, der europäischen Demokraten, immer zentraler sein wird.
