After many months of preparation, I am delighted to announce that our party’s new Europe-wide campaign “ Solutions for Europe” will be launched next week! It will be structured around a series of events in 14 cities across Europe this year and throughout 2023. The objective is simple: showcasing the many local solutions and ideas that tackle today’s democratic, economic, social and educational challenges, and how they could be applied at EU level. We will give the floor to a diversity of stakeholders: innovators, NGOs, local officials, business leaders, civil society, young people, etc.
The first event will be on 18th February in Angers (France), and will be hosted by our MEP from the region: Catherine Chabaud. It will also be livestreamed by Facebook from 10.00am. They’ll be a dozen speakers on the event’s different topics: François Taddei, Founder of the Learning Planet Institute on education, Michel Catala, Alliance Europa Institute Director, Nicolas Le Berre, Founder of Cityzens Factory on the new models of governance, Noam Leandri, Secretary General of the ADEME Pays de Loire on the economy supporting the common good … And many other innovative entrepreneurs from the area.
The campaign will then continue to different countries, in Poland this Spring and Germany in September. Make sure to tune in!

His first stop was in New York for a meeting with Melissa Fleming at the UN: they had fascinating exchange on online political advertising and an update on the new rules voted last week by the European Parliament. Followed by a panel discussion on the war against Hamas organised by J Street: EDP called for immediate release of hostages, respect for international law, common security, and called for working for peace and democracy.
Renew Europe Now Kick-off campaign event – 20 March 2024
March 20th, 2024, marked a significant event on the European political landscape. The Renew Europe Now campaign kick-off event, heralding a new electoral platform, brought together the – European Democrats and the other centrist forces . Held at the Musées royaux d’Art et d’Histoire in Brussels, Belgium, this event was more than just a meeting of minds; it was a clarion call to liberal, centrist, and democratic forces across Europe. Over 800 people were in attendance, underscoring the widespread interest in and support for the Renew Europe Now campaign.
The EDP Convention in Florence – 8 March 2024
After months of preparation, the time had finally come: on 8 March, our EDP Convention took place at Stazione Leopolda in Florence, where we were finally able to share our eagerly awaited manifesto with the world. With over 1000 guests in attendance, the event was a resounding success.
