I am a 44-year-old engineer from Bilbao, a Basque speaker and a mother. I am passionate about Euskadi, its people and the values that identify us professionally, personally and, in short, as human beings. I have 7 years of experience in the field of technology, in ICT and customer service. I have dedicated 12 years to the intense and passionate municipal life as a Councillor of Bilbao City Council, trying to contribute to everything that would improve public services, the quality of life of the people and the competitiveness of the city. I was responsible for health, equality, international relations and the management of European funds. Later I moved to the Provincial Council of Bizkaia as Director General for Good Governance, Citizen Services and Digital Services I like challenges, learning new things, meeting different people and working in a team. My musts are my family, my friends, sports and moments alone. I would focus my mandate on digitalisation, re-industrialisation, competitiveness, reducing administrative burdens for agriculture and fisheries, unity in diversity, promoting minority languages... among others.
In Zagreb, on the occasion of the upcoming elections for the European Parliament, the presentation of the manifesto of the European Democratic Party (EDP) was held.
Eurovision Debate – live televised debate between the lead political candidates, incl. Sandro Gozi – on 23 May afternoon
On 14 May, the EDP will present the EDP Manifesto in Zagreb, a wonderful opportunity to do understand the political situation in Croatia and to to talk about the political future for the Western Balkans.
On 11 May, the Teodolinda 2024 will take place in Abbiategrasso (MI), a wonderful opportunity to do Politics, to talk about Europe, Italy and Lombardy.
Il Congresso del Partito Federale a Bitburg è iniziato con un benvenuto musicale, dando il tono a una giornata di discussioni illuminanti e di temi importanti sul partito stesso e sull'Europa. Il congresso del Movimento democratico a Blois, il mese scorso, è stato invece un incontro fondamentale, che ha unito persone che la pensano allo stesso modo, impegnate in ideali progressisti e soluzioni innovative. I due eventi hanno testimoniato l'impegno costante del movimento nel promuovere l'unità, nel plasmare il futuro della politica e nel promuovere una governance inclusiva.
Questo convegno promosso dal Partito Democratico Europeo insieme a Tempi Nuovi - Popolari uniti è servito per approfondire i temi dell'europeismo moderno, guardando al futuro dell'Europa nel segno di De Gasperi. Il Convegno intitolato "L'Europa di De Gasperi. Il futuro dell'Europa", è avvenuto a Roma il martedì 23 aprile 2024 alle ore 17:00.
Coalición Canaria e il Partito Democratico Europeo hanno organizzato un seminario su migrazione, asilo e rifugiati presso il Centro Culturale CICCA di Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
All'evento hanno partecipato Fernando Clavijo, segretario generale di CC e presidente delle Isole Canarie, e Sandro Gozi, segretario generale del PDE e deputato al Parlamento europeo. I partecipanti hanno affrontato il tema del Patto europeo sulla migrazione, recentemente approvato, da diversi punti di vista e hanno discusso misure e strumenti per promuovere la partecipazione locale alla risposta europea alla sfida della migrazione.
Dopo mesi di preparazione, il momento è finalmente arrivato: l'8 marzo, alla Stazione Leopolda di Firenze, si è svolta la nostra Convention EDP, dove abbiamo finalmente potuto condividere con il mondo il nostro attesissimo manifesto. Con oltre 1.000 ospiti presenti, l'evento è stato un successo clamoroso.
