Porta avanti una lunga tradizione di politica sociale e cristiano-umanista: fondato nel 1945 come Partito Sociale Cristiano e a lungo conosciuto come cdH (Centre Démocrate Humaniste), si è reinventato nel 2022 con il nome Les Engagés, aprendosi come un ampio movimento di cittadini impegnati per il bene comune. Al centro del progetto del partito si trova una **visione umanista della società**: **responsabilità sociale e solidarietà**, rinnovamento democratico, transizione ecologica, e un impegno forte e costruttivo per l'Europa. Cerca di riunire cittadini di buona volontà al di là delle divisioni tradizionali, ponendo l'interesse generale e la dignità umana al di sopra della logica partitica. All'interno del Partito Democratico Europeo, a cui si è unito nel 2024, Les Engagés incarna una convinzione al centro della visione del PDE: che una politica di impegno, responsabilità e umanesimo sia la risposta più sicura alla disillusione — e che un'Europa forte e democratica sia costruita dai cittadini che scelgono di impegnarsi per essa. ## Membri
