The European Democratic Party participated with enthusiasm and conviction in the first congress of the Movement for Democracy in Athens, an event that strongly marked the official launch of the new Greek political formation led by Stefanos Kasselakis.
Brussels, 10 May – “We cannot allow Europe to be dragged into a logic of passivity or resignation. We have the duty to act, and to do so with a democratic, reformist and deeply pro-European vision.”
Paolo Micheli, member of the European Democratic Party and mayor of Segrate, an important municipality in the Milanese hinterland in Italy, brings to this manifesto the experience of those who live every day under the government of a local community.
