What is our 2024 Manifesto?
The European Democratic Party’s 2024 Manifesto was approved at our Convention in Florence, Italy, on 8 March 2024, ahead of the European elections.
Presented at the Stazione Leopolda, in front of more than 1,000 participants, the Manifesto set out the political vision and priorities of our democratic, centrist and pro-European family for the new European mandate. The Convention opened the debate around four major themes: a sovereign Europe, a secure Europe, an inclusive Europe and a green Europe.
The Manifesto combines political principles with practical proposals. Structured around four major chapters — Convergence & Strengthening, Plural Harmony, Global Renaissance and Vibrant Regions — it brings together 21 key themes and 300 priority actions.
It is both a declaration of who we are and a roadmap for what we want to achieve in Europe: more democracy, more unity, more responsibility, and a Europe that puts citizens and regions back at the heart of its project.
Approved in Florence for the 2024 European elections, our Manifesto is a roadmap to reinvent Europe and prepare the next chapter of European democracy.
The Manifesto in 4 chapters

Building a stronger and more effective Europe means reforming our institutions, protecting democracy and the rule of law, and giving the Union the tools it needs to act. This chapter sets out our vision for a Europe that is more united, more capable and closer to its citizens.
Europe’s diversity is one of its greatest strengths. This chapter focuses on rights, inclusion, education, culture, media freedom and social cohesion: the foundations of a democratic society where everyone can contribute and no one is left behind.
Europe must be ready to lead in a changing world. From climate and health to migration, digital innovation, food sovereignty and consumer protection, this chapter presents our priorities for a Europe that acts with ambition, responsibility and strategic autonomy.
Europe is built from its territories. This chapter highlights the role of cities, regions, rural areas and outermost regions as engines of democracy, prosperity and innovation, ensuring that European progress reaches every community.
