Vincent Chauvet serves as a member of the European Committee of Regions since 2020, he is vice president of the French delegation. He also serves as a member of, and group coordinator within the Renew Europe Committee of the Regions for, the Commission for Environment, Climate change and Energy, or ENVE; and member of the Commission for Social Policy, Education, Employment, Research and Culture, or SEDEC. At party level, he serves as president of the Mouvement Démocrate in the Saône-et-Loire department. Chauvet is the co-founder of the first-ever-submitted European Citizens' Initiative called One Single Tariff. Chauvet is mayor of Autun, a subprefecture of the Saône-et-Loire department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of central-eastern France. He speaks French, German, and English.

Centrist Convention in Guidel: Setting the Agenda for Political Action and Citizen Involvement
