Europe plus simple

Too many rules, too much delay, too little common sense. Farmers, small businesses and local authorities are drowning in red tape written far from their reality. The European Democrats want a Union that does less but better: fewer burdens, clearer rules, decisions taken as close to citizens as possible.

Subsidiarity is not a retreat from Europe — it is what makes Europe trusted. A simpler Union is a stronger Union.
