Ander Caballero is a prominent Basque politician and international consultant currently serving as the Secretary General for External Action in the Basque Government. He has a diverse background in diplomacy, public affairs, and operations, and specializes in advising public, private, and non-profit organizations on public affairs. Caballero holds a position as a visiting scholar at the Center for American Politics at Harvard Griffin GSAS. He has represented the Basque Government in various international forums, including the 2014 ECOSOC Development Cooperation Forum in New York. Ander is a lecturer in sub-state international relations, business diplomacy and sustainability at Deusto University and Mondragon University, and a senior fellow at the Aguirre Center for Social and Political Studies.
