“The center is the answer” : the conference of the European Democratic Party
At the Brussels Autoworld Museum, where the history of the European automotive industry is celebrated, the Congress of the European Democratic Party, one of the two European parties that make up the Renew Europe group in the European Parliament, will be held.
From Oct. 11-13, the town of Gaeta, in the province of Latina, halfway between Rome and Naples, became the center of political education in Italy during the fifth edition of the “Deserving Europe” training school, organized by EDP and the italian political party Italia Viva and aimed at young people under 35
The European Democratic Party will return to Guidel, France, on 27 – 29 September 2024 for its annual “Europe Days”.
On the 3rd of September, our EDP members of the European Parliament gathered in the historic and picturesque setting of the fortress of Namur, a magnificent structure that proudly overlooks the Meuse and Sambre rivers. This retreat, graciously organized and hosted by our affiliated party, Les Engagés, provided a unique opportunity for our MEPs to step away from the bustling corridors of parliamentary life and engage in meaningful dialogue in a setting conducive to reflection and collaboration.
On 14 May, the EDP will present the EDP Manifesto in Zagreb, a wonderful opportunity to do understand the political situation in Croatia and to to talk about the political future for the Western Balkans.
The Federal Party Congress in Bitburg began with a musical welcome, setting the tone for a day of enlightening discussions and important topic on the party itself and Europe. Instead, the Movement Democrate’s Congress in Blois last month served as a pivotal gathering, uniting like-minded people committed to progressive ideals and innovative solutions. The two events were a testament to the movement’s unwavering commitment to fostering unity, shaping the future of politics and promoting inclusive governance.
The EDP invites you to take part in this event focused on De Gasperi’s legacy and the future of Europe on the 23rd of April 2024 in Rome.
In an articulate and lengthy speech recorded on November 9 in Maastricht and broadcast today on his social channels, former Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, Italian senator and president of the “Italia Viva” party, outlined his ideas for the Europe of tomorrow.
