● Minister of Mobility, Climate and Ecological Transition
Jean-Luc Crucke is a Belgian politician currently serving as the Minister of Mobility, Climate and Ecological Transition in the federal government. His political career spans over three decades, beginning in local politics as a municipal councilor in Frasnes-lez-Anvaing and progressing to regional roles in the Walloon Parliament and government. Crucke, a lawyer by profession, has held various positions including Mayor of Frasnes-lez-Anvaing and Walloon Minister. Initially a member of the Mouvement Réformateur (MR) party, he made headlines in early 2023 by joining Les Engagés, following his resignation as minister in January 2022 due to disagreements with his former party’s direction.
