First elected in September 2015 as a member of the Hellenic Parliament for the Athens A constituency with the EK, or Union of Centrists party, and became secretary of the parliamentary group. He held this position until his election as vice-president of the parliament in July 2017. He became an EDP vice-president in 2016. In the Hellenic Parliament serves on 10 committees including the Standing Committee on Production and Trade, Committee on the State Balance Sheet and General Balance Sheet and the Control of State Budget Implementation, Special Permanent Committee on Institutions and Transparency, Special Permanent Committee on Diaspora Hellenism, Special Standing Committee on Parliamentary Ethics, Committee on the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives, House Finance Committee, House Library Committee, the Committee of Public Enterprises, Banks, Public Utilities and Social Security Institutions, and the Special Committee on the content and procedures for concluding the Transatlantic Trade Agreements. He was a member of the All-Party Parliamentary Committee for the Recovery of German Debts.

He is a member of the National Council for Foreign Policy, a member of the Conference of Presidents, vice-president of the Friendship Group of Greece - Bosnia and Herzegovina, a member of the Parliamentary Friendship Groups of Russia, Thailand, United States, as well as director of the Union of Centrists and head of the Sports, Economy & Development, Local Government and Tourism sectors within the EK party. Before public service, he was a production manager at a private television station Extra Channel. He also worked as a senior executive in a multinational tobacco trading company Imperial Tobacco as a procurement manager for south-eastern Europe. An Athenian born in 1976, he studied marketing, specialising in communication, at the American College of Athens.
