Marie-Christine Marghem

Marie-Christine Marghem (born 22 May 1963, Tournai) is a Belgian politician and lawyer who sat in the federal Chamber of Representatives from 2003 to 2024 and was federal Minister of Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development from 2014 to 2020. In 2020 she became president of the Mouvement des Citoyens pour le Changement (MCC), the Belgian centrist movement founded in 1998 that is part of the Mouvement Réformateur (MR) alliance. She was elected Mayor of Tournai in December 2024.
