This debate was widely broadcast across Europe through public service media channels and online platforms, ensuring extensive reach and engagement with audiences all over the continent.
The Bruegel Debate, titled “Economic Choices for Europe: EU Leadership Debate 2024,” was held on May 21, 2024, in Brussels, gathering leading candidates from key European parties for an in-depth discussion on the critical economic issues set to shape Europe’s future. Organized by Bruegel in partnership with the Financial Times, this debate provided a platform for candidates to elaborate on their respective economic policies and visions.

The Federal Party Congress in Bitburg began with a musical welcome, setting the tone for a day of enlightening discussions and important topic on the party itself and Europe. Instead, the Movement Democrate’s Congress in Blois last month served as a pivotal gathering, uniting like-minded people committed to progressive ideals and innovative solutions. The two events were a testament to the movement’s unwavering commitment to fostering unity, shaping the future of politics and promoting inclusive governance.
Coalición Canaria and the European Democratic Party organised a Seminar on Migration, Asylum and Refugees at the CICCA Cultural Centre in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
In an event in which the Secretary General of the CC and President of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, and the Secretary General of the EDP and MEP, Sandro Gozi, took part, they addressed the new European Migration Pact, recently approved, from different perspectives, and discussed measures and tools that allow the promotion of local participation in the European response to the migration challenge.
After months of preparation, the time had finally come: on 8 March, our EDP Convention took place at Stazione Leopolda in Florence, where we were finally able to share our eagerly awaited manifesto with the world. With over 1000 guests in attendance, the event was a resounding success.
