The supply of food is a valuable asset. Times of crisis show us how important self-sufficiency in the basic necessities of food and energy is for us. Relieve the middle class: Excessive bureaucracy stifles and destroys the middle class. It hinders regional businesses, which are needed for a vibrant rural area. Adapted standards for imports into the EU: Trade agreements with third countries must meet the EU’s quality and process standards for ecological, social, and economic reasons. Strengthen security: The common defense and security policy must be strong. Our cybersecurity must ensure significantly more resilience against cyber threats. We must ensure that “Made in Germany” remains a promise of quality

The delegation was joined by MEP Ciarán Mullooly, along with Independent Ireland TDs Michael Collins, Richard O’Donoghue, Ken O’Flynn, and Michael Fitzmaurice.
