Our farmers protect our food, our landscapes and our independence, yet they are crushed between red tape, unfair competition and prices that do not pay. The European Democrats want a Union that stands with those who feed us: a fair income, simpler rules, and protection against imports that ignore our standards.

Food sovereignty is security, not nostalgia. A continent that cannot feed itself cannot call itself sovereign — and a countryside left behind is a Europe that has forgotten itself.
