Pina Picierno

Pina Picierno was born in Santa Maria Capua Vetere (Caserta) on 10 May 1981.
She served as a Member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies in 2008 and 2013, where she focused on culture, justice and legality. Since 2014, she has been a Member of the European Parliament, sitting on key committees including FEMM, BUDG, LIBE and AGRI, and on the delegations for relations with Israel and Ukraine.
In January 2022, she was elected Vice-President of the European Parliament - a position she was re-elected to in July 2024 - with responsibilities, among others, for Communication and relations with the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean. In June 2026, she joined the Renew Europe Group.
