SEN 21

SEN 21 is a Czech liberal-centrist political movement, with a notable presence in the Senate of the Czech Republic. Born of civic engagement and a commitment to clean, principled politics, it has made the defence of democratic standards and the rule of law its hallmark.

At the heart of SEN 21's project lie democracy, the rule of law, civic responsibility and transparent politics: a determined defence of democratic institutions, integrity in public life, and a politics that places principle and accountability above narrow interest. It approaches public affairs in a constructive, pro-European spirit.

Within the European Democratic Party, which it joined in 2019, SEN 21 embodies a conviction at the core of the EDP's vision: that democracy and the rule of law are never to be taken for granted, but defended and renewed through transparent, responsible and citizen-minded politics.
