Story

Narodna stranka – Reformisti (People's Party – Reformists) is a Croatian liberal and centrist party founded in 2014 by Radimir Čačić and his associates, in the reformist tradition of Croatian liberalism. With a strong base in northern Croatia, it built itself around a pragmatic, results-oriented vision of public life.

At the heart of the Reformists' project lie ethical governance, pragmatic reform and decentralisation: a depoliticised and efficient administration, investment in education, healthcare and infrastructure, and a politics measured by concrete results rather than ideological posturing. The party places strong emphasis on good governance and the responsible management of public affairs.

Within the European Democratic Party, which it joined in 2016, Narodna stranka – Reformisti embodies a conviction at the core of the EDP's vision: that good governance, decentralisation and pragmatic reform are the foundations of a modern democracy, and that a strong Europe is built on member states that govern themselves well.
