The Olympics and the IOC are very worrying if they are confirmed. If we look at the events of recent weeks, from the controversy over the inauguration to the boxing match with the Algerian athlete, there is no doubt that there is a common thread: in all cases we are faced with fake news (the painting was not the Last Supper and the athlete is a woman), skilfully pumped up by the European and American right wing with the blatant complicity of the Kremlin, as the intervention of the Iba – in the hands of a Russian tycoon and linked to the giant Gazprom – shows.
One of the targets is Macron
And non è un caso che uno degli obiettivi sia Macron, che è oggi il leader europeo più in contrasto con Mosca. Nei manuali russi di guerra ibrida è già tutto scritto: si prendono temi divisivi (ieri i migranti, l'aborto, il green deal, i diritti delle donne, oggi i diritti LGBT), si fomentano le opposte fazioni e si rende l'Occidente più polarizzato, più diviso al suo interno e quindi più debole. In tutto questo il fatto che un social network, X-Twitter, sia in mano ad un imprenditore che è uno dei gangli di questa rete di propaganda, complica ulteriormente le cose.
