Imanol Pradales Gil ist ein baskischer Politiker der Baskischen Nationalistischen Partei (EAJ-PNV), der im Juni 2024 Lehendakari (Präsident) der baskischen Regierung wurde. Vor seiner jetzigen Position hatte er verschiedene Führungspositionen im Foralrat von Bizkaia inne, unter anderem als Foralbeauftragter für Infrastruktur und territoriale Entwicklung. Bei den baskischen Regionalwahlen 2024 führte er die PNV mit 35,2 % der Stimmen zum Sieg und bildete eine Koalitionsregierung mit der Sozialistischen Partei. Pradales ist bekannt für seinen Fokus auf Talentmanagement und wirtschaftliche Entwicklung und war zuvor als Geschäftsführer von Bizkaia Talent tätig. Während des Wahlkampfs 2024 wurde er Opfer eines Pfefferspray-Angriffs, was seinem politischen Schwung jedoch keinen Abbruch tat.
