Imanol Pradales Gil è un politico basco del Partito Nazionalista Basco (EAJ-PNV) che è diventato Lehendakari (Presidente) del Governo Basco nel giugno 2024. Prima del suo attuale ruolo, ha ricoperto diverse posizioni di leadership nel Consiglio Forale di Bizkaia, tra cui quella di Deputato Forale per le Infrastrutture e lo Sviluppo Territoriale. Durante le elezioni regionali basche del 2024, ha portato il PNV alla vittoria con il 35,2% dei voti, formando un governo di coalizione con il Partito Socialista. Pradales è noto per la sua attenzione alla gestione dei talenti e allo sviluppo economico, e in precedenza ha lavorato come amministratore delegato di Bizkaia Talent. In particolare, è stato vittima di un attacco con spray al peperoncino durante la campagna elettorale del 2024, che non ha scoraggiato il suo slancio politico.
